Missing Home

It’s six months and six days
Since I left home
And flew thousand miles
To start a new home.
It has only been months
But it feels like years
Wondering each day
How back home, things has been.
There are still more days to live
And events to attend here
Before I can finally say,
I’m back to my home sweet escape.
I may have a new place called home
But the place I’ve been for years before
Can never be compared
To where I am now.
The warmth, laughter and tears
These things are always missed.
As the cliché goes,
There’s no place like home.

Time Running Fast

In two weeks' time, I will be back to the PI... Back to the warm weather, back to busy streets of Manila, back to my real world... I'm feeling indifferent and at the same time excited...

I miss my family, I miss my friends... I'm sad I am gonna miss the Paskuhan as well... A lot of things that I miss back home... But I am also at home here at Hessen...

Yes, I am brown, I am Asian, but they don't care about that, they accepted us... THEY LIKE US... And I am going to miss them as well...
